Arts-in-Education Program

The Arts Council of Anne Arundel County assists schools and PTA groups in presenting quality performances and residencies for school students in dance, history, music, theatre and related arts disciplines.

Grants are available from the Arts Council to assist with the expense for your performer or program. Application procedures and an application form are available to download, see below. Funding is also available from the Maryland State Arts Council for approved artists. Inquire of the artist for funding.

Arts-in-Education Showcases

Cultural Arts Coordinators from county schools are invited to attend the three free showcases, usually held in the latter part of September, to see over fifty performing artists demonstrate their talents in brief samplings of their work before live audiences of children from the host schools. The artists performing at the upcoming Showcases are experienced not only in their arts disciplines but in working with students as well. They offer the schools assembly programs, workshops and artist residencies throughout the school year.
